I’ve been lost for a while without a major plan to move forward… After a long look at 2016 personally and professionally, I have decided it is time to take the next step. As many of you know, I have a full time job, overtime family and fitness goals that keep me going for both.

While I have done some pretty awesome things in my past, I have to move on from them… I feel I have lost so many battles recently because I have been watching my past and not moving to the future. I have put on some weight, haven’t made time to run and have been lost without a full set of goals…

SO after some time to think about it, rest & recover and actually writing out my goals and plan to achieve them, here are my main push me forward and keep me accountable goals. There are several things I’d like to do in between to help me get there as well.

1. Leadville 50 mile
2. Birthday miles 32 this year 😉 (or a very specific race that weekend)
3. 4 official distances of 26.2 or higher
4. 13.1 1:45 minutes
5. 26.2 under 4 hours
6. Launch something awesome (details to come 🙂
7. Run 1,800 miles in 2016   150 miles/mo avg

To do everything that I want to do, I’m going to need to clean some stuff up. I need to refocus on my nutrition. No more B.S. I know what I need to do to be successful- focus on eating high quality food, controlling my portions, reducing my peanut butter consumption, limiting alcohol and sugar and making sure I am lean enough to increase my speed without giving up muscle mass, I have to run in the dark, the cold and keep running my hills & trails.

I have a tried to focus on what is going to push me forward and keep myself accountable. I can’t accomplish my 2016 goals without help. To really be successful, I will need your help. As we get closer and I firm a few things up, you’ll understand how important this statement is. Thanks for following me on my journey and I look forward to encouraging you and helping you reach your fitness and running goals!
